With two quarter-turn connectors, you can achieve secure connections without carrying the extra weight and bulk of a larger scaffold hook. The “reel” end of the limiter connects to your harness arrest point, while the shock absorber end can be anchored to a suitable anchor point on the structure you are working on.

This arrester works much like a seat belt in a car, dispensing up to 2m of durable webbing when pulled in a controlled manner; it can be used in both horizontal and vertical orientations.
