Usage Instructions

To use the dressing effectively, follow these steps:

1. Cleanse the wound according to standard procedures and thoroughly dry the surrounding skin.
2. Select a size of the dressing that covers the wound and the surrounding skin by at least 2 cm; if necessary, the dressing can be cut to size.
3. While holding the larger protective film, remove the smaller one. Moisten gloves to prevent adherence to the dressing.
4. Apply the dressing over the wound, then remove the remaining protective film. Smooth the dressing onto the surrounding skin to ensure a good seal. If multiple pieces are needed, overlap them without blocking the pores.
5. Apply a secondary absorbent dressing pad on top if required. In contoured or jointed areas, ensure adequate padding is used to keep the dressing flat against the wound surface.
6. Fix the dressing in place with an appropriate fixation device.

This dressing can be used under compression bandages and is compatible with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and gels. When the outer absorbent dressing becomes saturated, it should be changed while leaving the non-adherent dressing in place. It may remain in place for up to 14 days, depending on the wound's condition.

Precautions

• Seek professional advice if signs of infection appear, such as fever or redness, warmth, or swelling around the wound.
• For partial thickness burns with a high risk of rapid granulation, avoid placing pressure on the dressing and reposition it at least every second day.
• Cover bleeding wounds or those with high viscosity exudate with a moist absorbent dressing pad.
• When used for skin graft fixation or blister protection, do not change the dressing before the fifth day post-application.
• Avoid use on individuals with known hypersensitivity to any components of the dressing.
• This dressing is sterile; do not use if the inner package is damaged or has been opened prior to use.
• Do not reuse the dressing to avoid deterioration in performance and prevent cross-contamination.
